The Unbelievable Xakanaxa, Khwai, Savuti, Chobe, Victoria Falls 10 Nights 11 Days

Starts in Maun & ends in Victoria Falls with Wild Africa Safaris dropping you off at the Victoria Falls airport / agreed drop-off point

Day 1: We drive to Moremi game reserve which is situated in the middle of Okavango Delta covering 15000 square kilometres of the northern part of Botswana. We will be using BOGA/HATAB campsites. The campsite is situated in Xakanaxa. (Full day drive from Maun depending on arrival in Maun.)

Day 2: During our stay in Moremi Game Reserve we will be doing two activities per day that is morning and afternoon game drive. The morning Game drive will start at 06:00hrs after breakfast and back to the campsite for lunch around 11:00hrs Afternoon Game drive start at 15:00hrs back to the campsite after sunset.

Day 3: Drive from Xakanaxa to Khwai Development Trust and our drive will be about full day to arrive to Khwai campsite around 1830 hours, there might be a lot of wildlife on our way and we might arrive a bit late due to game viewing and packed lunch will be available.

Day 4: Will do early morning and afternoon game drive in Khwai which will be resuming around 0600 hours after breakfast finishing around 11:30 for lunch and start afternoon activity from 15:00 hours till sun set. Mokoro trip for 2 hours will be done in between the morning and afternoon activities times to be discussed in camp.

Day 5: We drive to Savuti. Our drive to Savuti will be conducted as morning game drive. We will travel about 100kms to BOGA/HATAB campsite which is 4 to 5hrs drive. Savuti is in Chobe National Park which is 10,878 km2 large The Savuti Marsh is the relic of a large inland lake whose water supply was cut a long time ago by tectonic movements.
On the travelling day we will have picnic lunch en route. We will be in the campsite in the evening around (18:00hrs).

Day 6: On the full day of our stay in Savuti we will do morning and afternoon game drive starting early in the morning after breakfast till 11:30 hours and 15:00 hours till sunset

Day 7: Drive to Chobe River Front. We will be travelling to Chobe River Front after having our early morning breakfast. The drive will be about 142kms to BOGA/HATAB campsite going through the Park and 30kms of sealed road where you will see a few villages. (4hrs 30min). Picnic lunch will be served on the way, arriving to the BOGA/HATAB campsite around 18:00hrs.

Day 8: In Chobe river front, we will do morning game drive after breakfast and back to campsite around 11:00am
Depart from campsite at 12:00 for 14:00hrs boat cruise in town which will end around 17:00hrs so that we have enough time to drive back to the campsite.

Day 9: Early wake for our breakfast and go out for the last morning game at the same time driving out of the national park for the Victoria Falls trip which will take about two hours including customs & immigration clearing. Arriving time will be around lunch time staying in a beautiful lodge which is about a kilometre away from the Smoke that Thunders, (Mosi Oa Tunya). You will then do your own arrangements in terms of activities as they are many of them and also at your leisure time, we have transport to take you around places of your choice during the preferred activities around Victoria Falls Town.

Day 10: You will finish with all the activities arranged in the morning and the afternoon at your own leisurely time and enjoy the little town after having done the rain forest park which Wild Africa Safaris will arrange on first afternoon while we are in Victoria Falls.

Day 11: Breakfast and check around 10 00 hours to drive you to Victoria Falls International Airport.

  • Any drinks at Lodges or Accommodation other than Wild Africa Safaris Tents
  • Once dates and space are confirmed a 50% deposit non-refundable is required.
  • Final payment: Due 60 days prior to departure
  • Should the deposit / pre-payment not be received within the time frame specified, Wild Africa Safaris reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
  • Wild Africa Safaris reserves the right to amend the rates accordingly, should the Government increase the Parks Fees during the duration of agreement. These types of increases are beyond our control, however, guest / guests will be advised.


  • Up to 91 days prior to departure 20% of completed booking cost.
  • 90 - 61 days prior to departure 30% of completed booking cost.
  • 60 - 46 days prior to departure 50% of completed booking cost.
  • 30 to 0 day prior to departure 100 % of completed booking cost.

All cancellation must be reserved in writing. Cancellations received between the date of booking and 90 days’ prior of arrival will result in the loss of the deposit.

Cancellations received 89-31 prior to arrival will be subject to a charge of 50% of the tour price. All other cancellations fees are subject to the cancellation policy of the various hotels and ground operations used and are available upon application. The purchase of special event tickets is subject to the refund policy of each individual event. Please refer to the specific event policy for details. We reserve the right to charge for financial penalties, fees and losses incurred as a result of cancellation.


Refunds are not made for any missed services except for verifiable circumstances. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program. Any adjustment considered will be based on the actual price of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be made for unused sight-seeing trips or meals. Wild Africa Safaris will not accept any liability for any claims that are not received within 30 days of the termination of your program. All claims for days missed while travelling should be made in writing within 30 days of the program.

Limits on Wild Africa Safaris RESPONSIBILITY. His employees, shareholders, offices, director’s successors, agents and assigns, does not own or operate with any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip with the exception of a limited number of vehicles. Hotels and other lodging accommodations, restaurant, ground handling and other services from various independent suppliers. All such persons and entity are independent contrators. As a result, Wild Africa Safaris is not liable for any negligent or wilful act of any such person or entity or of any third person.

In addition, and without limitation Wild Africa Safaris is not responsible for any injury, financial or physical loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection to the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labour activities. Criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transport mechanism to arrive or depart on time.

They are many inherent risks in adventure travel of the type involved here, which can lead to illness, injury or any death. These risks are increased by the fact that these trips take place in remote areas or locations, far from medical facilities. Passengers assumes all such risks associated with participating in this trip.

Transfers are provided on arrival and departure from airstrips to lodge/ Campsite and only where specified in the itinerary.


Accommodation and arranged sight-seeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Wild Africa Safaris control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. Wild Africa Safaris also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations to the itinerary or the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. In case of any appreciable variation in the tour the price due to this circumstances, Wild Africa Safaris reserves the right to make adjustments to the tour costs as necessary.


Specific requests should be advised at time of booking. Please note that every effort will be made to secure special requests, however they cannot be guaranteed. Certain special requests may require up-front payments.


Transportation will be as specified in the itinerary.


Baggage and personal effects are the owners risk throughout the tour and Wild Africa Safaris assumes no liability for loss or damage baggage insurance is strongly advised.


The full price includes planning, handling and operational charges and is quoted based on the current rates of exchange and tariffs. Park entrance fees as part of scheduled sight-seeing tours are also included in this price.


Wild Africa Safaris reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a program with Wild Africa Safaris, travellers agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Travellers who prefer that their images not to be used are asked to identify themselves to Wild Africa Safaris and they will be exempted from this photography waiver clause.


Please ensure that you consult your personal physician about anti-malaria precautions and other inoculations and vaccinations before travel. Where applicable, please ensure to do that well in time.
